dispossessed of what has been bequeathed to him. Anthony made his mark.
Witnesses. Michael Chapman. Robt Utting. Proved at Norwich 4th January
1644/5. Administration to son Anthony.

Individual Note: (According to Beryl Chapman) Son of Thomas Howes of Little
Brandon and grandson of Joan Howse, will 1593, who left him 7 acres and 1
rood of land in Little Brandon. It is estimated that Anthony was not yet 14
years old in 1593, born therefore about 1580. The name of Anthony's first wife
was Amy. She was buried at Wymondham on 16th March 1633. Anthony
Howes married (2) at St Mary in the Marsh, Norwich, 19th October 1639, Alice
Corell.

Mentioned in Grandmother Joan's will, dated 1593, as having 10 years to go
before reaching 24. Own will Nfk Arch 1644 W56 (P Morgan) mentions same 7
acre close as did grandmother Joan in her will.
