Thomas Watkins, 40, engine fitter, b. Gloucester & Marjorie, 6, b. Portsmouth are boarding with Maud's married sister Ethel in 1911. There is a marriage Portsmouth RD of Maud Knox to either Michael James Burke or Leonard Percival Gough, so perhaps Maud was not married to Watkins.
