      Transcripts of registers all read Compton Dando.
      I can't help but wonder if that should read Compton Dundon although I know there's a Compton Dando in Somerset. The reason I wonder about that is that Joan's sister Betsy White lived in Compton Dundon and when she died Joan was listed as the informant on her death cert. Her husband Robert was said to be an Ag. Lab. In Betsy's will she left a suit of mourning to her brother-in-law Robert Puddy as a token of her respect. Because of that and Joan being informant I wondered if they lived at Compton Dundon. Of course they could have simply gone their to help out when Betsy was taken ill. She had breast cancer so likely she was ill for some time.
