This is the last will and testament of Mr Thomas Alleyne Howes of Cirencester in the County of Gloucester, gentleman. I give and bequeath unto my brother Harman Howes the sum of one hundred pounds as a smal compensation for his trouble and expense in attending to me in my different illnesses All the rest of my property estate and effects of what nature or kind soever I give and bequeath unto all my brothers and sisters who shall be living at my decease subject to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the legacy above mentioned equally to be divided between and among them share and share alike and I appoint my said brother Harman Howes and my brother in law William Davis executors of this my will hereby revoking all former wills by me ... hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of November 1820
