      BEAVER VALLEY : Miss Ruth Beatrice, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Charles H. Bloom, and Thomas Hawley Howes were united in marriage at the bride's home in Beaver, Tuesday at 2 o'clock. The bride's father offciated at the service. The wedding march was played by Mrs. J.W. Rife of Cadiz O. Only the immediate members of the family and friends in the college class and fraternities of the bride and groom, numbering a score, were present. Decorations of the parlor and
      dining room were with yellow and white roses. The bride was an honor member of the class of '15 of Bethany College, and has for the last two years been a teacher in the Jewett (Ohio) High school. Mr. Howes took the agricultural course at the same college and is manager of the Firestone estate at Columbiana Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Howes will enjoy a honeymoon trip to New York, Mt. Holyoke and other points in the east. After Aug. 1 they will be at home in Columbiana.
